STONEBWOY EXPLAINS HOW HE GOT THE WORLD CUP GIG

The Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy has revealed how he was given the opportunity to play at the FIFA Fan Festival in Qatar.

One of the musicians at the FIFA Fan Festival for the 2022 World Cup was supposed to be Stonebwoy.

A little more than a month later, Stonebwoy spoke with George Quaye on Joy FM about how he got the chance.

Stonebwoy listed the names of his UK agency, Wasserman Music, Premium Entertainment, and the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).

He claimed that his name sprang to mind right away when they sought a person from Ghana to fill the position.

He also referred to his journey to Qatar, where he represented Ghana, as mind-blowing. He declared that he had taken home the prize for best act at the FIFA Fan Festival.
